Gravity Well Station

The Gravity Well Stations were built to facilitate the transport of goods from the planet surface to orbit, by bypassing the violent atmosphere that surrounded the planet. At a costly fee, any ship could navigate the beams down to the planet in a safe manner. Those who chose not to comply with the G.W.S price would risk a rogue entrance to the planet via the atmosphere, risking their very lives (and more often than not, loosing them).
